Applied Physics 298r

Interdisciplinary Chemistry, Engineering and Physics

Spring 2006

Come and learn about the research carried out in the Materials Research Science and Engineering Center (MRSEC). The AP298r lectures will be given by a team of faculty members associated with the MRSEC, and will be pedagogical in style. The seminar course will provide a broad overview of topics in materials research and engineering with examples drawn from areas of research of current interest to members of the MRSEC, including mechanisms of deformation, confined fluids and biophysics. The requirements of the course will include a paper and an oral presentation on one of the topics.

Mondays & Wednesdays, 12:00-1:30 p.m. in Pierce 209

First class: Wednesday, February 1
