The Harvard MRSEC provides professional development activities for postdoctoral fellows and graduate students. A recent workshop led by Nancy Houfek, formerly Head of Voice and Speech of Harvard University's Tony Award-winning American Repertory Theatre, brought Nancy's expertise in negotiation to women graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. The full-day workshop that is one component of Ms. Houfek's Strong Women/Strategic Performance series, led participants through several exercises in developing and implementing key situational negotiation skills.
