The Harvard MRSEC has collaborated with TA Instruments to establish a Center for Thermal and Mechanical Analysis. TA Instruments supports the Center by providing extensive instrumentation at a highly reduced price. In exchange, the Harvard MRSEC will develop new uses for the instrumentation in biological fields, and will provide some technical expertise for applications for TA-Instrument customers, which will ultimately lead to new industrial collaborations.
