The MRSEC Leadership Council hosted a panel local entrepreneurs and venture capitalists for Center graduate students and postdoctoral fellows at the SEC on April 11, 2024. The group included recent Center alumni Jinyoung Seo from PasCal, Paul Le Floch from Axoft, and Cathy Zhang from Saint Gobain. The alumni recounted their recent experiences in the formation of startups and working in larger companies. The panel also included Venture Capitalists to answer questions about the current funding environment and opportunities for senior students and postdoctoral fellows considering industrial careers. After the panel discussion there was a reception to allow one-to-one conversations between Center researchers and panelists.
